About Camperships

Well before Children’s Home closed its doors, the Board recognized the value of a rewarding outdoor camp experience for younger children. Children’s Home Foundation is pleased to grant need based camperships to children of the Eastern Shore in the summer months. Since 1930 Camp Wright on Kent Island, Maryland, also a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton, was a popular camp destination. Today, campers may attend any licensed camp on the Eastern Shore. They may be overnight or day camps.

A board member from the child’s county of residence will administer this grant.   A simple one page document is required.
