Traditional Scholarships
Traditional scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors. Applications are accepted in the spring of the student’s senior year and awards are granted in April and May. Board members present the award at their Senior Awards Night.
Non-Traditional Scholarships
Non-traditional scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. These students are post graduates looking to enhance their employment opportunities through skills training.
Currently, the Children’s Home Foundation vocational scholarships are administered by the two year colleges on Maryland’s Eastern Shore: Cecil County and Wor-Wic Community Colleges as well as Chesapeake College. For information regarding scholarship aid for career training at other two year schools, please email CHF at chfscholarships@gmail.com.
